5 Instagram Research Prompts for Muse

prompt

Note: Five prompts, ready to copy. Paste one into Muse, swap the part in [brackets] for your own city, venue or product, and send it.

Muse can see the parts of Instagram that expire or never get indexed: stories, recent posts, reels, and your own saves. Stories disappear after 24 hours, so a normal web search never finds them.

That's how I found real flamenco in Sevilla. I asked Muse to search Instagram Stories for shows happening that night, and it pulled up something the other AIs couldn't find.

Here are five more.

1. Turn your saves into a trip itinerary

You've saved hundreds of travel posts and never booked the trip. Muse reads them and builds the plan for you.

Look through my Instagram saves about Tokyo and build me a 3-day itinerary — only places that still look open and active in recent posts.

2. Check a restaurant or bar before you book

Google reviews can be two years old. Stories and tagged posts from the last two weeks show you what it's like right now.

Check recent stories and posts tagged at [venue name] from the last two weeks. Is it still good? What's the vibe, is it packed on weekends, anything I should know before booking?

3. Recipe saves into a grocery list

For all the recipe reels you saved and never cooked.

Go through my saved recipe reels, pick 5 realistic weeknight dinners, and make me one consolidated grocery list.

4. Find out what people actually think of a product

Creators complain in their stories about things they'd never put in a feed post. Discount codes turn up there too.

Everyone's posting about [product]. Scan recent posts and stories mentioning it — what do real users complain about, and is there a discount code floating around?

5. Catch local pop-ups, markets and sample sales

Small brands announce these on stories and nowhere else, so they never make it to Google.

Watch stories from local [city] brands and markets this week and flag any pop-ups, sample sales, or one-day events I should know about.

You're on the list.
